A human-looking spaceship gets into a universe of trouble in Meet Dave

When you think of spaceships you probably think of the Enterprise from the Star Trek TV shows, or the Millennium Falcon from the Star Wars movies.

 

But what if we told you there’s a spaceship that looks exactly like a man, and inside of it are hundreds on tiny, tiny aliens? It’s a weird idea, but that’s what you’ll see in the comedy Meet Dave.

 

The tiny aliens come to Earth looking for help to save their planet. Since they are on Earth, they decide the easiest way for them to get around is to disguise their ship so it looks just like a human being. 

 

The question is, who should the ship look like? That’s easy. They use Captain Dave as their model, so the ship is simply a huge replica of their leader. Of course, since these aliens know very little about Earth, and human behaviour, they — and their ship — get into a lot of sticky situations, including dealing with a woman who thinks Dave is cute!
